Training Public Sector Lawyers from Across Africa
New Perimeter is collaborating with The Eastern and Southern African Trade and Development Bank Group (TDB Group) to build the capacity of public sector lawyers from TDB Group member states across Africa. An international team of DLA Piper lawyers delivered training on negotiating international transactions to public sector lawyers from 23 different African countries who are involved in negotiating and reviewing contracts related to natural resources on behalf of their governments.
Peru Debt-for-Nature Swap
Our non-profit affiliate New Perimeter and DLA Piper Perú were proud to support Conservation International, The Nature Conservancy, Wildlife Conservation Society, and WWF on an historic $20 million debt-for-nature swap between the US and Peru that will re-direct money to protect three priority areas in the Peruvian Amazon.
