About our work
New Perimeter was invited to create and provide training on sexual harassment, discrimination and human trafficking to the students, faculty and staff at Akilah Institute, Davis College, a non-profit post-secondary educational institute for women in Kigali, Rwanda. The president of Akilah Institute, Davis College, specifically requested this type of training as its main priority, both to inform the women of their rights once they enter the workplace, and also to promote a safe, respectful environment on campus. Upon successful completion of the first training, Davis College requested that New Perimeter provide a "train-the-trainer" program to select faculty and staff who can then train students across Davis College's Rwanda campuses.
