Global FoodBanking Network
New Perimeter lawyers worked to create and support the Global FoodBanking Network (GFN). The goal of GFN is to end world hunger, using food banking, which is a sustainable method for fighting hunger. GFN's approach is to support food banking where it exists and create it where it does not. Early members of GFN have included food bank networks and associations in Canada, the US, Mexico, Argentina and the UK. In addition, GFN has been in discussions with the European Food Bank Federation and various other food banks and food bank groups around the world. GFN has pilot projects under way in Colombia, Israel and Ghana, and has been in discussions to start a pilot project in South Africa. New Perimeter's work for GFN included corporate formation and governance, tax work, and assisting with various contracts.
